    Most important current topics; prognosis for the economic situation in Germany and the further course of personal situation of living; the three biggest problems in the Democratic Republic of Germany; Chancellor preference (Scharping or Kohl); the most competent party for overcoming problems in Germany; voting behaviour during the last Bundestag elections (December 1990 as well as October 1993, recall); party preference (opinion poll, first vote, second vote); intent to participate in the election and preference for absentee vote; party sympathy. Demography: sex; year of birth; profession; professional position; academic achievements; size of household and number of 18-year-olds and over present in household; household income; party membership. Additionally coded: Region (Bundesland, Regierungsbezirk, Kreiskennziffer); political size of a community; date of interview; weekday week and month in which interview was carried.

The data set contains parts from omnibus surveys conducted by FORSA in a daily rhythm. Each working day approx. 500 interview were conducted.
