    Evaluation of parties and politicians. Topics: Judgement on one´s own economic situation in comparison to earlier; expectations of future economic development (Katona questions); party preference; sympathy scale for CDU, SPD, FDP and NPD; political satisfaction with the federal chancellor and selected federal ministers; evaluation of accidents in the Federal German Armed Forces, e.g. with Starfighters and submarines. From the area of market research: degree of familiarity of long-established and new brands of cigarettes as well as the wool symbol, brands of cheese, photographic equipment, paints and lacquers; attitude to pearl jewelery and preferred forms of jewelry. Interviewer rating: social class of respondent and city size. Demography: possession of durable economic goods; head of household; marital status; age (classified); employment; occupation; school education; vocational training; religiousness; religious denomination; household income (classified); size of household; sex; state.
