Sampling Procedure Comment: Census of individual companies (cluster sample) of recruits (draftees and volunteers) in 12 training companies at the end of general basic training (after approx. 10 weeks of service in the Federal German Armed Forces) as well as group leaders.

The study presents the second wave of a panel survey. In ZA Study Nos. 0364 and 0366 in part identical question formulations were used. The data of the group leaders and assistant trainers are already assigned to the corresponding recruit in the data set.
