    Attitudes to problems of international policy and above all to the policies of the superpowers. Topics: Most important problems of the FRG; judgement on the danger of war as well as the American and Soviet peace efforts; attitude to American military bases in Europe and to various countries; desired political orientation and attitude to neutrality of the FRG; attitude to the Four-Power Conference as well as assessment of the extent to which the treaty is being honored and willingness of the negotiation partners to compromise; attitude to rearmament, expansion of East-West trade, NATO, admission of China into the UN; desired conduct of the western powers regarding the Soviet Union; attitude to the trip of Adenauer to the Soviet Union; knowledge about the neutrality of Austria; willingness to defend fundamental values; assumed use of nuclear weapons in a new world war; judgement on the military strength of the superpowers and the seriousness of the efforts to outlaw nuclear weapons; party preference; membership in a trade union. Demography: age (classified); sex; marital status; school education; occupation; household income; head of household; state. Interviewer rating: social class of respondent; willingness of respondent to cooperate; number of contact attempts; city size; identification of interviewer.
