    Political attitudes and behavior at the polls as indicators for political radicalism. Topics: Most important problems of the FRG; behavior at the polls in the Federal Parliament election 1969; parties voted for since 1949; time of voting decision; events with influence on voting decision; party preference; sympathy scale for leading state and federal politicians as well as for the SPD, CDU/CSU, FDP, NPD and DKP; competent politicians and their party affiliation; most important politicians of the FDP; sympathy for the NPD; attitude to current political questions such as co-determination, recognition of the GDR, orientation of foreign policy and influence of the churches; issue relevance; issue ability of the parties; self-classification on a left-right continuum; attitude to the death penalty; political interest (scale); local residency; work satisfaction; change of job; membership in clubs. Scales: anomy; dogmatism; democratic attitude; antisemitism; nationalism; National Socialism. Demography: age; sex; marital status; number of children; religious denomination; religiousness; school education; occupation; employment; professional career; type of company; income; household income; head of household; social origins; refugee status. Interviewer rating: length of interview; number of contact attempts; willingness of respondent to cooperate; presence of other persons; date of interview. Also encoded were: age and sex according to voter registry; constituency.

Probability: Multistage; Sampling Procedure Comment: Three different sampled populations: 1. eligible voters 18 years old and older (representative, 962 cases), 2. young voters between the ages of 18-24 years (497 cases), 3. regional sample from protestant districts and cities in Northern Hesse and from the city region Frankfurt (836 cases).
