    Use of various means of transport and judgement on the transportation connection by residents of a newly constructed settlement in Berlin. Topics: Length of residence; former residential district and reason for change of residence; means of transport used and intended change of means of transport used after completion of the subway; frequency of going out and preferred parts of town for this; frequency of change of occupation and connection with the move to the Gropius city; company size; judgement on the climate in the company; attitude to work; planned change of job; length of way to work; carpool and use of various means of transport on the way to work; detailed information on course of the drive to work; earlier means of transport used to work; distribution of working hours; time of leaving home; distance between residence and reaching the means of transport; monthly travel costs; possession of a vehicle and planned purchase of vehicle; frequency of use of vehicle of someone else; primary disadvantages of the subway; difficulties with climbing stairs in the subway; appropriate waiting time for subway cars; assessment of the time loss in transfer; desired duration of the way to the nearest subway station; most sympathetic means of transport; duration of drive for daily shopping; place of daily shopping as well as weekend shopping; level of costs at which one would switch from automobile to subway; frequency of contact with earlier acquaintances and friends; new acquaintances in the settlement; memberships and participation in club events; place of meeting; comparison of new with earlier residence; social origins; interest in further education.
