    Education aspiration, school image and child-raising habits of parents with a child in the 10th grade of a high school. Topics: reasons for transfer to the higher school; parental plans after completion of the 10th school year and agreement here with the child; occupation ideas of parents; financial sacrifice of parents for school attendance of child; significance of high school graduation grades for college degree or occupation; talents and achievements of child in comparison with class average (scale); honoring achievements within and outside of school by the school; factors for school success; regular reward and punishment of child for school achievements; average time for homework and surveillance of this; extent to which informed about school achievements; leisure behavior of child and his behavior with money; friendships of child; right to a say for parents and schoolchildren in school matters; personal participation in school events; attitude to a strike by schoolchildren; participation of child in demonstrations; judgement on the school situation in general and the school of the child; educational goals of a higher school; teacher supervision; attitude to sex education; expected influence of social origins of schoolchildren on conduct of teachers; status of education of all of one´s own children; age of spouse; local residency. Demography: age; number of children; religious denomination; school education; vocational training; occupation; employment; income; social origins; regional origins; membership. Also encoded was month of response.
