    Concepts of place of residence and mobility readiness of workers and employees in the Federal Republic. Topics: Satisfaction with housing; preferred size of place of residence; preferred form of countryside, region and state or foreign country; interest in residing in a large city; inclination to move and readiness to move away; available and preferred infrastructure facilities in residential surroundings; leisure activity and neighborhood relationship; membership in clubs, trade unions or employee representations; regional mobility and length of local residency; satisfaction with change of residence or city and influence of spouse on decision to move; reasons for last move; satisfaction with earlier job; distance to work and interest in a place of residence in the vicinity of work; means of transport used on the way to work and evaluation of time expended for the drive; work satisfaction; company size and preferred company size; judgement on one´s own prospects of promotion; duration of employment and company ties; criteria for choice of job; judgement on local education facilities; minimum demands of a city to which one would move; residential property or apartment; possession of several cars; judgement on the economic development and one´s own income development. Demography: sex; marital status; number of children; ages of children (classified); religious denomination; religiousness; occupation; employment; income; household income; size of household; social origins; city size; place of birth; regional origins; refugee status. Also encoded were some regional data such as gross domestic product of place of residence and tax base of the district.
