    Current job situation, trade union attitudes and assumed effects of technical development as well as automation on job stress. Topics: School and occupational career; satisfaction with occupational life up to now and current job; working conditions and job demands at current job; change of occupation and job in the past; relationship with colleagues and superiors; prospects of promotion; wage fairness; evaluation of different wage forms and of one´s own job security; contact at work; evaluation of the job of the works council; understanding and evaluation of automation; evaluation of technical progress and its consequences for the standard of living, job stress, working hours, the employment situation and occupational advancement; impact of short time work; perceived possibilities of cooperation between workers and employers in the company; necessity of trade unions; attitude to co-determination and the power of the trade unions; membership in a trade union; political interest; form of housing. With transfer within the company: reasons for the transfer within the company and modalities of communication; attending retraining courses; general judgement on the new job; comparison with earlier job. Demography: age; marital status; number of children; religious denomination; school education; vocational training; income; social origins; regional origins; membership in a trade union. Interviewer rating: date of interview; credibility and cabability of giving an opinion of respondent.
