    Attitude of the population to current political topics. Judgement on parties and politicians. Topics: judgement on the economic situation in the FRG and in Rhineland-Palatinate; self-assessment of political interest; judgement on the relevance of selected political issues as well as issue ability of the parties; influence of conflicts about the leader of the opposition in the state parliament on general as well as personal election decision; certainty of personal election intent; preferred government party or government coalition and preferred prime minister; opinion agreement with politicians or parties at state and federal level. Demography: age; sex; religiousness; religious denomination; frequency of church attendance; school education; occupational position; employment; household income; party preference (ballot procedure); party identification; Interviewer rating: degree of urbanization; district code. Also encoded was: city size; district code.
