    Attitude of the population to current political topics. Judgement on parties and politicians at state as well as federal level. Topics: judgement on the economic situation in the FRG and assumed economic development; comparison of the economic situation in Baden-Wuerttemberg with the FRG; expected development of personal prosperity; currently most important task of the FRG and Baden-Wuerttemberg; self-assessment of political interest; attitude to the ´Free Voter Unions´ campaigning in the municipal elections; sympathy scale for state and federal politicians as well as for the parties and judgement on their ability; expected election result; image of the candidates for prime minister Spaeth and Eppler and semantic differential for Spaeth, Eppler and Filbinger; certainty of one´s own voting intent; party inclination and party preference (rank order procedure and ballot procedure); satisfaction with state government and opposition in the state parliament; opinion agreement with various top politicians and parties; preferred federal chancellor; party preference at federal level; degree of familiarity of selected politicians; attitude to Filbinger as state chairman of the CDU; satisfaction with the political system in the FRG; personal opinion leadership and opinion allegiance; membership in a trade union. Demography: age; sex; marital status; religious denomination; frequency of church attendance; school education; occupational position; employment; number of recipients of income; household size; respondent is head of household; characteristics of head of household. Interviewer rating: degree of urbanization; length of interview; district code.
