    Attitude of the population to current political topics. Judgement on parties, state politicians and state government. Topics: judgement on the economic situation of the FRG and one´s own economic situation; most important tasks in the Saarland; judgement on the relevance of political issues; issue ability of the parties; most preferred Saarland politician; degree of familiarity of Saarland politicians as well as their offices; satisfaction with the coalition government and the opposition (scale); assignment of responsibility for successes or failures of the coalition government; currently most active political party; degree of opinion agreement with politicians and change of this agreement; judgement on the Saarland party chairman (scale and open question); judgement on the ability of this politician (scale); preferred politician to solve current political problems (pair comparison); changes in attitude to a party due to its participation in the coalition government; attitude to firm statement of willingness to form a coalition before the election; assessment of the influence of the FDP on the state government; attitude to the coalition government (scale); attitude to further leadership of the current coalition government after the state parliament election 1980; preferred government and preferred prime minister; preferred successor for Roeder; effects of a resignation of Roeder on the government coalition and one´s own voting decision; attitude to the three-party-system and a ´fourth party´; political interest and judgement on one´s own extent to which politically informed; personal opinion openness in political discussions; party preference at federal and state level; expected election result given new elections in the spring.
