    Structures and determinants of political participation and political ideology. The data set contains the data of the second panel wave and the cross-section surveys conducted in the 3 specified countries in the same time interval. An integrated data set with the data of the first and second panel waves is archived under ZA Study No. 1189. The summarized data set of the first panel wave in 8 states is archived under ZA Study No. 0765. The ZA Study Nos. 1190 and 1191 contain the data of the second panel wave as well as of the cross-section survey for the Federal Republic. The survey time periods for the individual countries were: Federal Republic of Germany, February 1980 to July 1980; Netherlands, November 1979 to April 1980; USA, May 1981 bis September 1981.
