Interviewer rating: willingness of respondent to cooperate; presence of other persons during the interview and their interventions in the course of the interview; reliability of respondent; degree of tiredness of respondent after interview; date of interview; length of interview, place of survey. Also encoded was: sex and age of interviewer.

With parts of the survey the respondents were given survey booklets to be filled out in writing. The questions involved deal primarily with psychological scales. The "efficiency check" deals with a representative survey of the German population on health habits conducted in a two-year cycle. In this frequently identical question formulations are repeated.
