    Living conditions and living habits of families and internal family structure in a bombed-out, German small town. Topics: local residency; refugee; bombed out; social origins; detailed information on occupation learned and occupation of both spouses; rent and housing conditions; number of family members and subtenants; condition of health of the family; physical handicaps in one´s family; personal family doctor; possibility of visiting a doctor; short-term goals and measures to reach them; greatest pleasures and concerns; future expectations; organization of leisure time in one´s family; vacation destination; sociability; decision structure within the family regarding income and raising children; personal attitude as well as attitude of spouse to physical punishment in raising children; difficulties with the children; ideas about choice of occupation for the children; attitude to interest of wife in occupation of husband as well as his other interests; attitude to participation of husband in household; circles of social contact; household income; shopping habits and detailed break-down of expenditures in household; possessions; club membership; union membership; number of politically interested family members. The ZA Study Nos. 1572 to 1577 are part of a comprehensive investigation about the socio-economic life of a medium-sized, bombed-out city and its surrounding area. The study is also known as ´German middle town survey´.
