    Attitude of workers to occupation, colleagues, superiors and the representatives of their interests. Topics: local residency; refugee; bombed out; social origins; detailed information on occupational career, type and headquarters of company, length of employment and earnings; time worked each week; arranging work; job satisfaction; working in occupation learned; considerations on choice of occupation of children; job security; threat of the general unemployment situation; topic of conversation with superiors; atmosphere at work; attitude to the necessity of a works council; presence of a works council; satisfaction with the works council; judgement on cooperation of works council with management; personal membership in works council; attitude to contacts between works council and trade unions; union membership; time of joining and activity as functionary; participation in trade union events and reading of trade union newspapers; reasons for membership in a trade union; attitude to trade union functionaries; political interest; party membership; assessment of personal economic development; characterization of an ideal superior according to age, sex, independence and sympathy with personal matters; preference for more job security or higher income. The ZA Study Nos. 1572 to 1577 are part of a comprehensive investigation about the socio-economic life of a medium-size, bombed-out city and its surrounding area. The study is also known as ´German middle town survey´.
