    Judgement on the Hamburg downtown as well as the residential districts by the population of Hamburg. Topics: special advantages and disadvantage of the Hamburg downtown as well as of the district in which the respondent lives; frequency and place where selected leisure activities are conducted; judgement on leisure time and shopping opportunities available in the downtown in comparison to one´s own district; judgement on the transportation connection of the downtown and of the district by public and private means of transport; judgement on the form of the district as well as streets and squares; sources of information about cultural offerings and leisure activities in Hamburg; attitude to city subsidies for culture institutions; preference for support of culture institutions in the downtown or in the district; most important sights of Hamburg; attitude to the Hamburg downtown and personal residential district (scales). Demography: nationality; age; sex; marital status; school education; occupation; occupational position; employment; place of work or training vacancy located in downtown Hamburg; monthly net household income; size of household; number of children under 10 years old in household; party preference; degree of satisfaction with Hamburg as place of residence; length of local residency (Hamburg); household has a car; preferred means of transport to get to downtown Hamburg; time needed to get to downtown Hamburg. Also encoded was: length of interview; number of contact attempts; willingness of respondent to cooperate.
