    Use of computers by young people and attitude to such computers. Topics: hobbies and leisure activities; personal and assumed open-mindedness of parents regarding computers; strength of personal interest in computers; general attitude to computers; attitude to computer use (scale); judgement on mental demands of computer users; brand association and brand knowledge; knowledge of computer manufacturers; occupational or private computer use; reasons for non-use of computers; interest in purchasing or possession of a computer; financing oneself or purchase of computer by parents; amount of expenditures for computer and equipment; originally intended use and current use of computer; frequency of use; use of a floppy disk, tape recorder and printer; general judgement on and weaknesses of one´s own computer; manufacturer of one´s own computer; occasion of first use of a computer; age at this first contact; desired application possibilities for the computer; possession of drivers license; possession of car or morotcycle for travel purposes. Also encoded was: ZIP (postal) code and interviewer identification.
