Sampling Procedure Comment: a) Quota sample b) Beyond the representative sample five ´special samples´ were drawn: 1) respondents with a net household income of over 3000 DM (those with high income) 2) respondents with high school graduation or university/college degree. 3) residents from large cities (Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Cologne, Munich) 4) workers (employed skilled workers, unskilled and semi-skilled workers) 5) young people and young adults between the ages of 14 and 24 years
