Sampled Universe
Persons living in private households in the Federal Republic of Germany who were over 18 years of age at the time of the survey. Starting in 1991, foreign target persons were also included in the ALLBUS samples. If there was no sufficiently good knowledge of German, these target persons are counted among the systematic dropouts.
