    Attitude to European unification and the European Parliament. Judgement on parties and politicians in view of the European Election. Topics: Most important political problems of the country; intent to participate in the European Election; voting in the polling station or absentee ballot; voting intent; certainty and time of personal voting decision; significance of federal policy for one´s own voting decision in the European Election; behavior at the polls in the last European Election; interest in politics; sympathy scale for the most important federal parties, the coalition and the SPD opposition as well as for selected top politicians; party preference (rank order procedure); judgement on one´s own as well as the general economic situation in the Federal Republic; expected economic recovery; ability of the government and opposition in questions of economic policy; preference for independence of the country or European integration; attitude to increased authority of the European Parliament; advantageousness of membership of the country in the EU; significance of parliaments at municipal, state, national and European level; attitude to introduction of an ECU currency; environmental protection, agriculture as well as combating crime and unemployment as national task or EU task; attitude to increased international responsibility for the Federal Republic as well as for the European Union; attitude to admission of Eastern European nations into the EU; preference for increased admission of new countries into the EU or desire for deepening the ties between the nations; interest in European policies; most able party in European questions; party preference; behavior at the polls in the last Federal Parliament election 1990; party inclination and party identification; self-classification on a left-right continuum; expected winner in the European Election; expected taking seats in the European Parliament by the FDP as well as the Republicans; city size; religiousness; unemployed in personal surroundings and jeopardy to job of close persons.
