Description
  • Abstract

In the study a novel experiment is undertaken systematically to estimate the long-term influence of historical factors on the regional development of political culture. The formation of the party system in the German Empire (1871 to 1918) serves as a test case. The "geo-economic, geo-political model" after Stein Rokkan played a central role in this.
