    This is a corrected version of IS CLARITY OF RESPONSIBILITY IMPORTANT FOR ECONOMIC VOTING? REVISITING POWELL AND WHITTEN'S HYPOTHESIS (ICPSR 1206), used to write two responses to criticisms made by Harvey Palmer and Guy Whitten in an exchange in the January 2003 issue of the British Journal of Political Science.
