Description
  • Abstract

This special topic poll, conducted November 5, 2002, was undertaken to assess public opinion on the day of the 2002 Maryland gubernatorial election. Respondents were asked whether they voted or were going to vote. If they answered yes, they were asked whether they voted or would vote for Lieutenant Governor Kathleen Kennedy Townsend (Democrat) or United States Congressman Robert Ehrlich (Republican) and why they chose that candidate. Respondents were also asked about their political orientation and their opinions of the Democratic party, the political party of the current administration.
