    Judgement on parties and politicians. Political questions. European Union. Questions on unification. Topics: In all 10 individual studies the following questions were repeated: most important political problems in the country; city size; intent to participate in the election and party preference; behavior at the polls in the last Federal Parliament election; sympathy scale for parties and politicians as well as for the Federal Government and opposition; most sympathetic party (rank order); living together with a partner; union membership; religiousness; unemployed in social surroundings; party inclination; party identification; day of survey; district code. In at least one survey the following additional questions were posed: satisfaction with election result; attitude to a one-party government of CDU/CSU; coalition preference; attitude to a grand coalition; preference for federal chancellor; comparison between Kohl and his challengers as well as between Scharping and Schroeder; preferred SPD candidate for chancellor; assignment of government services to federal government, states or municipalities; adequate service performance of the federal government, states and municipalities for the taxes collected by them; judgement on the economic situation in Western Germany and in Eastern Germany as well as expected changes;
