Note
A further study on representative election statistics is archived under ZA Study No. 2662. To maintain secrecy of the ballot only election precincts with at least 290 eligible voters were included in the sample. Otherwise it would have been possible to identify the behavior at the polls of individual voters with infrequent combinations of characteristics. Furthermore, absentee voters were not included in this particular statistic. The ballots for this election statistic had special imprints that enabled directly investigating the connection between the variables sex, age, state as well as behavior at the polls on the individual level.
