First survey was fielded during the period of 48 hours before the first round of election for the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic in 1996, second survey was conducted during the period of 24 hours before the second round. The results were aired on Czech TV as a part of electoral news. After the election the research continued in a third survey of the same panel of respondents. Its data are not included to the file. The data should be weighted. Weighting variable VAHA1 was constructed on the bases of the official results and participation in elections.
