  • Abstract

    In this study, the conditions, progressions and results of vocational socialisation of young childcare workers are examined longitudinally. The design consists of three survey waves in which prospective child care workers and paediatric nurses were interviewed using standardised survey instruments. The survey waves cover the phase of the beginning of the vocational biography, i.e. the transition from the Vocational School for Social Pedagogy, through the beginning of the vocational internship to the pedagogical field of work.
