Description
  • Abstract

Position of European political parties on political issues The political positions were collected from the parties themselves. In parallel, the same positions were assessed by experts on the basis of party programmes, party websites, publications and other sources. These expert interviews (archived under ZA Study No. 5917) are a coded record of the political position of parties. In the event of discrepancies between the self-reported positions and the expert judgements, the parties were asked to comment. This correspondence is also available in the form of scans of e-mail traffic and was archived under the present study number ZA5918. For data protection reasons, this correspondence can only be processed on site in our Secure Data Center in Cologne.
