    For the first time, the monitor digital education provides a comprehensive and representative empirical data base on the status of digitalized learning in the various educational sectors in Germany - school, job training, university and further training.

Training managers in companies, who are responsible for the entire training (in some companies also separately for commercial and industrial purposes). He / she specifies the direction of the training, usually after consultation with the management in the company. The training management is responsible for the strategic planning and orientation of the training as well as for the finances and further education of the trainers and training officers. The respective company must be an apprenticeship company, employ at least one trainee and train according to a valid training system.
