Germany: The universe comprises all parliamentary candidates for the 2014 European Parliament Election from the following eight German parties: Christian Democratic Union, Social Democratic Party of Germany, Alliance‘90/ Greens, The Left, Alternative for Germany, Christian Social Union, Free Democratic Party, and the Pirate Party. Schweden: The universe comprises all parliamentary candidates for the 2014 European Parliament Election from the following ten Swedish parties: Social Democratic Labour Party, Green Ecology Party, Moderate Coalition Party, Liberal People’s Party, Sweden Democrats, Centre Party, Left Party, Christian Democrats, Feminist initiative, and the Pirate Party.
