    Social condition of women in Leipzig after the social turning point in the GDR. Topics: Optimism on the future; stand on equal rights for man and woman regarding occupation, family, household; attitude to retention of social-political measures; attitude to the guarantee of the right to work in the constitution; attitude to quota regulation for management functions in social areas; criteria for personal happiness in life (scale); goals in life (scale); future expectations regarding personal life (scale); threats experienced from environment, conflicts in family and partnership, hostility to children, discrimination as a woman, unemployment, price increases, crime, economic decline, violence against women, prostitution, pornography, egoism; stand on beauty contests, porno-shops, theaters and magazines, peepshows, brothels; stand on the question of retention of GDR regulations such as the right to work, secured jobs for young people, adequate and all-day kindergartens, rent subsidies, law allowing abortion in the first trimester, marriage credits, paid household days, reduction in working hours for mothers, school meals, school nurseries, day-nurseries; trust in parties and movements (scale); family planning; current partner relation; number of children; desire for children and change in recent time; desired child care in the day-nursery age, in kindergarten age and in the first year of school (scale); concepts of employment with and without children of different age levels; evaluation of flexible arrangement of working hours; characteristics of employment (scale); full-time or part-time employment; work in shift work; time expended for the route to work and means of transport used; average leisure time on a work day; significance of various factors for employment such as earning money, achievement, social contacts, recognition and respect; experiences at work (scale); satisfaction with living conditions; current condition; number of children living in household; assessment of the necessity of an independent council area on equal rights for women.
