Topics: Goals in life; moral orientations; view of future; extent of
leisure time; leisure contents and activities; use of home
electronics; possession of different media; preferred music, reading
material, films and broadcasts; preferred games; wishes for school;
attitudes to school requirements, participation in achievement
comparisons and support measures; assessment of personal talent;
effort for school tasks; changes in school in the last six months;
learning one or more music instruments; school achievements; test
results on concentration ability, attentiveness, verbal agility.
The first to fourth wave of the "Schoolchildren Interval Study Capabilities" are archived under ZA Study Nos. 6117 to 6120. The Interval Study was continued after 1990 in the eastern states in the project "Risk Situations and Risk Behavior of Young People". The waves have ZA Study Nos. 6180 to 6183. Furthermore the "Schoolchildren Interval Study Capabilities - Younger Cohort" was conducted in parallel in an older cohort (ZA Study Nos. 6122 to 6127 and 6184 to 6186).
