    Analysis of partner relations and related attitudes of young people - above all on family and social policy after the VIII. Party Convention of the SED. Topics: Opinion on the great love; attitude to sexual morals, certain forms and problems of sexual partnership, sexual advice centers; ideal marriage date; ideal time for the birth of the first child; desire for children; attitude to family and occupation, degree of employment, abortion; knowledge about the social-political measures for young marriages; attitude to engagement and church wedding; expectations of future spouse; current partner relation, commitment, attitude of parents to this; length of the partner relation; common activities, their popularity and effects on the relation; influence of relation on different areas of life; characteristic of current partner: age, activity, social origins, characteristics; attitudes to certain forms and prerequisites for beginning sexual relations; attitude to faithfulness; age at first intimate contact and sexual intercourse; frequency of sexual intercourse; number of partners in sexual intercourse up to now and their nationality; polygamy; use of contraceptives; knowledge of seductions or rapes and personal experience; identification with occupation practiced; comparative assessment of achievement and social activity; solidarity with different social groups and occupation; solidarity with the GDR, the Soviet Union; willingness to defend the GDR; world view; attitude to membership in the SED; member in the FDJ; training status; social origins.

The Partner Study I - Students 1972 is archived under ZA Study No. 6143. Comparable complexes of indicators are the base for partner study II, ZA Study No. 6145, and partner study III. The study partners III is an investigation of three sub-populations: apprentices, ZA Study No. 6146; young workers, ZA Study No. 6142, and students, ZA Study No. 6147. A further supplemental study was conducted among students of various Republics of the Soviet Union, ZA Study No. 6141. Further investigations among male and female prisoners are archived under ZA Study Nos. 6200 and 6201.
