    Individual promotion of talents of the schoolchildren of the 3. class at the polytechnical high school in areas within and outside of instruction from the perspective of the educators. Topics: length of teaching experience up to now; agreement between training and subjects taught and class levels; current functions in school area; judgement on the material-technical equipment in instruction; using measures for individual support of all children being taught or those particularly capable schoolchildren of the 3. class in the school year 1985/86, reasons for non-use; self-critical assessment of personal ability optimally to support schoolchildren of various achievement groups; current direction of forms of support; frequency of stimuli and support to realize promotion of talent in instruction through various persons, media; hindrances or stimulants in promoting talent in instruction; current subject personally taught in the 3. class; Identification with pedagogical stands on the talent problem.

The first to fifth wave of the "Schoolchildren Interval Study Abilities" are archived under ZA Study Nos. 6117 to 6121. After 1990 the Interval Study was continued in the eastern states in the project "Levels of Risk and Risk Behavior of Young People". The waves have ZA Study Nos. 6180 to 6183. Furthermore the "Schoolchildren Interval Study Abilities - Younger Cohort" was conducted parallel in an older cohort (ZA Study Nos. 6122 to 6127 and 6184 to 6186).
