  • Abstract

    Presentation of the over-all structure of the needs of social groups and analysis of the connections of the effects of the needs of individual areas of life. Topics: Importance of various sides of life such as work, peace, belonging to a stable community, having contacts, nutrition, health, residence, leisure time, education, information, culture and art, environment, recuperation, children, making a contribution for society, sexuality, sociability (scale); occupation characteristics (scale); shift work; readiness to take on new work tasks; personal qualification adequate for technical changes; technical equipment of workplace; number of children in household; income adequate to satisfy needs; residential status; activities to structure one's own situation in life; preferred organization of leisure time; contents of leisure activities; leisure objects; frequency of use of service offerings; extent to which informed about the scientific-technical situation of company, the environment, current political problems, residence problems and sport events; effects of occupational work, household and leisure activities on the natural environment; contribution of government/company measures, activities of social organizations, conduct of the individual, intensification of the national economy and environmentally compatible consumer goods for environmental protection; satisfaction with work; ensuring peace; satisfaction of sexual needs; security in one's family; sense of well-being in work collective; contacts with other people; nutrition and clothing corresponding to one's own concepts; condition of health; satisfaction with furnishing of one's own residence; contacts with friends; satisfaction with physical activity in leisure time, education, information, environment, entertainment, recuperation, number of children; significance of different goals in life; expected social changes; judgement on length of questionnaire and interest in further surveys.
