  • Abstract

Integration of all data collections from the project ´Structure and Change of Leading Parliamentary Groups in Germany 1848-1933´ into a uniform data base environment including election data on the Empire from the ICPSR archives (No. 0043) ´German Election Data 1871-1912´. The data base structure makes possible analyses over several eras and/or aggregations or disaggregations based on hierarchical or network structure. Additionally there are programs available which, for example, can determine members with seats from various eras, access to persons with unclear name information (SOUNDEX), production of text biographies from the encoded data, providing election results on seats, etc. Topics: Collective biography, roll-call votes, elections.
