  • Sources: Systematic development of archive records in the Kitzingen City Archive: the 7 available tax books of the city of Kitzingen in the 16th century (from the years 1515, 1520, 1530, 1536, 1546, 1566, 1590), supplementary to this the tax books of 1615 and 1629; besides name and amount of tax the "tax books" in Kitzingen also contain exact individual details about the taxable possessions of all citizens and residents subject to taxation; every tax book contains on average 650 entries with up to 160 different possession details; systematic development of the Kitzingen official lists (Sammelwerk Ruecklein, 1400-1628) and council lists (Sammelwerk Ruecklein, 1500-1628); supplementary development of the contracts on legal equality among children of different marriages and the guardian books, council transcripts (1526-1628) and the church books (1535-1628) (in the archive of the Catholic parsonage).
