AbstractThe aim of the study is to close information-gaps in the range of the long-term development of wages. ´In detail the [authors´] aim of the study was to present the tendency of long-term development of earned income in Germany and to appoint the differences of the wage levels between prewar- and postwar-time (Skiba, Rainer 1974: Das westdeutsche Lohnniveau zwischen den beiden Weltkriegen und nach der Währungsreform.
