    The life of the youth in the candidate countries: Working and training conditions, values and future perspectives. Attitudes towards society and the united Europe. Topics: Role of EU; dependence on parents’ home; activities; community life; languages spoken; languages young citizens would like to learn; travel; destinations; mobility; unemployment; prerequisites of a good job; financial situation; source of income; information technology tools; IT devices and services in regular use; position in certain ethical issues; attitudes towards foreigners and minorities; social and political participation; mobilise the youth for better social participation; meaning of EU; effects of the EU; meaning of European citizenship; action by Europe; priority areas; sources of information about rights and responsibilities; desired form of information about the EU; best information sources about rights and possibilities offered by the EU; objectives of the EU’ Youth Programme; sources of information of youth programmes; need to get more information on youth programmes; willingness to participate the youth programme. Demography: Nationality; marital status; age; age at termination of school training; educational level; size of household; occupational status; employment; occupational position; size of community; church attendance; income of the household; party preference; gender.
