Abstract
The Short Form of the Hagen Matrices Test (HMT-S; Heydasch et al. , 2013; see also Heydasch et al., 2020.) is an economic figural matrices test comprising six items that primarily measure induction, reasoning, and fluid intelligence according to the Cattell-Horn-Carroll (CHC) model of intelligence (Schneider & McGrew, 2012). It is a web-based test. The test is available in German, English and Spanish. The quality criteria have so far only been checked for the German version. Reliability is sufficient for group comparison Construct validity and criterion validity (correlations with school grades) are acceptable.
