Abstract
A comprehensive psychometric analysis of the Eating Disorder Inventory (EDI-3) scales and items for a large sample of patients at an eating disorders clinic. The analyses included confirmatory factor analyses (CFA) of scale structure and item response theory analyses (Rasch) of the EDI-3 items. For the CFAs, the sample was divided randomly into two samples of roughly equal size. Sample 1 analyses identified the best-fitting models, which were then cross-validated on Sample 2. Rasch analyses were performed on the overall sample only. -
