There are two types of data: bankruptcy statistics and bankruptcy court case files.  The universe for the bankruptcy statistics is US Federal District Courts. The universe for bankruptcy court case files is households filing for non-business bankruptcy in Missouri from 1898-1930 and in Maryland from 1945-2000.
