Abstract
Since 2005 StEG has been carried out as a nationwide research program for the development of all-day-schools and individual student trajectories. The research project was implemented in close consultation with the German Bundesländer and was funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). StEG is a consortia project of the German Institute for International Educational Research (DIPF), the German Youth Institute (DJI), the Institute for School Development Research (IFS) at TU Dortmund, and the Justus-Liebig-Universität Giessen (JLU). The StEG sub-project StEG system monitoring was realized in 2012, 2015, and 2018 to gain information about the organizational structure of all-day schools. The nation-wide and representative sample provides relevant data about the entirety of the german all-day school system as well as it´s chances over time.
