    Attitude to regained sovereignty after the Paris Treaty of 5. May 1955 went into effect and attitude to various alternatives to reunification of Germany. Topics: Most important domestic and foreign policy problems of the FRG; extent to which informed about the recovery of sovereignty and judgement on the consequences for the country; preferred ideological and alliance policy orientation for the FRG; attitude to communism, establishing diplomatic relations with the USSR, rearmament, recognition of the GDR and a neutral, reunited Germany; attitude to negotiations of the Federal Government with the USSR regarding reunification; knowledge about the ratification of the Austrian Government or Peace Treaty of 15. May; evaluation of the conduct of the USSR in the Austria question as success of the policies of the western powers; assessment of the credibility of Soviet policies as well as of the peace plan and the disarmament recommendation; judgement on the success of a Four-Power Conference and of the American policies regarding the USSR; membership in a club, party or trade union; party preference; local residency.
