Topics: Assessment of the leading economic power and greatest military power; trust in the ability of the great powers to solve problems regarding problems in world politics; degree of concurrence of interests between the FRG and the USA as well as the Soviet Union and China; assessment of the future threat to the FRG from China; attitude to the planned visits of President Nixonin China and the Soviet Union; attitude to the efforts to reduce tension; evaluation of peace efforts of various countries; trust in the defense preparedness of allied countries; evaluation of the US commitment in Europe; religiousness. Demography: age (classified); sex; marital status; religious denomination; school education; occupation; household income; state. Interviewer rating: willingness of respondent to cooperate; presence of other persons; degree of difficulty of the interview; number of contact attempts; length of interview; city size; identification of interviewer.
