The consortium now comprises 51 social and economic science data-holding institutions from Germany and abroad. The DARA Consortium was founded

On 25 November 2020 the DARA Consortium was founded. The Leibnizinstitutions GESIS and ZBW have been early members of DataCite, and the joint DOI registration service da|ra has been in operation since 2010.
